Suppliers to the Royal Danish Navy
Naval Team DenmarkNaval Team Denmark is an export club within the Danish defence industry.NTD was founded with parliamentary approval in 1992 and works in close cooperation with the Royal Danish Navy (RDN). NTD is a non-political association, open to any Danish company. Foreign companies may be admitted as affiliated members. Initially NTD was formed as a response to the international interest caused by the innovative and trend setting Standard Flex modular concept and its application in the fourteen SF 300 units. In the course of time focus has also been on many other advanced naval systems offered by NTD members; systems that are not linked to the application of the Standard Flex concept but have proved competitive and applicable to other types of naval ships or shore facilities. The daily activity is financed by fees paid by the members and coordinated from a permanent office in the centre of Copenhagen. The association is supporting all members marketing abroad. This could include coordination of joint participation in international defence exhibitions, visits by Danish naval ships to potential customer countries, RDN and NTD team visits and briefings to foreign authorities and invitations to visit RDN ships and members facilities in Denmark.
